I began my career in 1988, designing birthday banners and cards on an Apple IIe with Print Shop software and a dot matrix printer for family birthday parties. I was 12, but a love for print design was born.
After receiving an undergraduate degree from Furman University in Studio Art and spending a couple of years enjoying life in a small Colorado ski town—I went back to study graphic design at The Creative Circus in Atlanta, GA. I served as the Art Director for Pregnancy Magazine and Senior Designer for Metaleap Creative where I worked with various clients including Paste Magazine, Georgia Music Hall of Fame, and Catalyst Conferences. I also returned to Creative Circus as an instructor in Branding and Publications. Since leaving to freelance more than 10 years ago- I've been able to work with so many wonderful individuals and clients (see client list below) to help create their brand and solve their design problems. So take a look around. There's a lot more work in the vault, just contact me if you want to see more.
I still enjoy designing birthday cards - so be sure to visit pushpapers.com for paper goods and other stationery needs.
